Why "Watchman."
A watchman isn't the hero of the story. The town is. The watchman's job is to see things early, stay calm, and make sure morning comes without incident. That's how we think about IT for small businesses: the goal is that nothing happens — and that when something does, it's handled before you've finished your coffee.
Watchman IT Services is the successor to The Solution Tailor, founded in 2018 in Madison, New Jersey. The Solution Tailor was built on one idea — managed IT that fits the business instead of the other way around. Watchman keeps that idea and adds the part we think matters most now: someone paying attention, all the time.
Where we work
New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Onsite where it matters, remote for everything else. Mon–Fri 9–5, weekends by appointment.

We don't sell hardware we wouldn't buy. We don't lock you into contracts you can't read. We don't promise 24/7 staffed support — we promise 24/7 monitoring and honest hours. We don't mention clients by name without asking.
